The problem we're solving

It’s easy to forget what’s in the fridge and buy the same thing twice. And even when you know what you have, working out what to cook with half a bag of spinach, three eggs and leftover rice can take some thought.

PantryPrix helps you keep track of those ingredients and find recipes that use them. Scan your groceries, check what needs using soon, and choose a meal.

How it works

1. 1

   Build your pantry once. Snap a photo of your shelves or scan a barcode. PantryPrix recognizes the items, parses quantities and expiration dates, and lets you edit the list before saving. You can also add items manually.

2. 2

   Tell it what you want. Cuisine type, number of servings, dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.), allergies, and how much time you have.

3. 3

   Generate recipes from what you have. The app picks recipes that actually match your pantry (prioritizing items that are close to expiring) and shows you exactly which ingredients you'll use.

4. 4

   Cook and deduct. When you start cooking, PantryPrix deducts the ingredients from your pantry. If anything's missing, it's added to your shopping list automatically.

Pricing

The Free tier gives you 3 recipes every day and full access to pantry, shopping list, and saved recipes, supported by ads. Barcode, photo, and receipt scanning are unlimited on every tier. Paid tiers remove ads and raise the daily recipe limit: Sous Chef ($4.99/mo, 8 a day), Head Chef ($9.99/mo, 15 a day), and Executive ($19.99/mo, 30 a day plus family sharing and priority generation).

Who we are

PantryPrix is an independent project. We're a small team that got tired of staring into a full fridge and ordering takeout anyway, and decided to build the tool we wished existed. We don't take outside money, we don't sell your data, and the only ads you'll ever see are the ones supporting the free tier, clearly labeled and easy to remove by subscribing.
